Alice Viles has worked with the KITS program since 2014 and has worked at OSLC off and on since 2004. Alice has 15 years of experience working with preschool-age children and has accumulated a vast repertoire of children’s songs, making her KITS go-to song lady. When Alice has a few minutes to herself, you will find her picking copious amounts of blueberries with her family, or taking her three kids to the library to check out books.
KITS is an evidence-based school readiness program developed at the Oregon Social Learning Center. The program provides a boost to children’s literacy, self-regulation, and social skills just prior to kindergarten via a system of positive teaching and behavior change strategies.
